Engelsholm Folk High School offers residence for professionals and students in the fields of art, design, craft, architecture and music. Engelsholm is an old Renaissance castle from 1593 placed in the beautiful countryside of mid-Jutland. There for it is the perfect place for you to develop and create your art in peaceful and scenic surroundings. Engelsholm has workshops for making jewelry, glass (blowing, fusing, casting), painting, photo, screen printing and ceramics, enabling projects of a multidisciplinary nature. The stay is four weeks, where in addition to studio facilities and ceramic materials for up to 1.000 DDK you get meals and accommodation for free.

As a resident you will work in the workshop side by side with our students. You will have your own working space provided.

Electricity and gas for the firings are included in the price for the materials. Materials can be bought at the school
The workshop’s technical equipment is covered by the general insurance terms and conditions, but this does not cover materials brought in by the artist, or the works of art by the artist
Engelsholm is placed between the train station in Vejle and the international airport in Billund with 15 km to both. Pick up can be arranged.
Engelsholm is one of the leading schools when it comes to preparing students for art and music academies. The teachers are all professional artists.
